IT'S OFFICIAL: DMC IS IN THE STUDIO...SOLO !!!
Yeah you read it right!!
"DMC: In New York, with producer DJ Nasty, recording his first Run-less solo album, Checks, Thugs,
Rock & Roll, which may include a star-studded remake of "Sucka MC's"

Ashanti and Allen Iverson?

Ashanti made the most of her homecoming last week in Glen Cove, New York. Not only did she get the key to the city on Friday afternoon; on Saturday, she wrapped a four-day video shoot for her next single, "Happy."

The songstress plays Ja Rule's girlfriend in the Irv Gotti-directed clip, which saw her filming in a beauty salon, expensive cars, local houses and a park, according to a spokesperson. Allen Iverson was originally scheduled to play Ashanti's braided boo, but a small thing called the NBA playoffs interfered with the all-star Sixers guard's schedule.

Fans can also expect to see dance performances and cameos from many of Glen Cove's residents — including Ashanti's mom, Tina Douglas — in a huge park scene, the spokesperson said. The appearance marks Douglas' second appearance in a video with her daughter. That was her angrily asking Terrence Howard, "Where were you?" in the clip for "Foolish."

"[Shooting 'Foolish'] was crazy," Ashanti recalled with a smile last month, " 'cause every five minutes she was like, 'Do I do it like this? Do I do it like this?' She wanted to make it perfect. But it was really fun."

"It worked out fine," Douglas said. "I was like, 'Yo, this is not acting. I've been here before.' When [Ashanti] was 16, 17 years old, I was really saying, 'Where were you?' [to her boyfriends]. I just had a flashback. But it was wonderful."

Ashanti also co-stars in the video for the remix of "Down Ass Chick" with Rule, Charli "Chuck" Baltimore and Vita. That track is the first release from the next Murderers LP, We Still Don't Give a F---, which drops in July.

When Will Tyson Learn ? This guy stays in trouble it like it taps him on his shoulders. I was reading the USA Today and I was shock on what they posted in their paper of Mike tyson saying crazy stuff like this "I normally don't do interviews with women unless I fornicate with them," he told a female reporter. "So you shouldn't talk anymore unless you want to, you know." Now I usually Be one of the ones to say "Leave the man alone " But with outrages stuff like that makes me wonder sometimes............Edit By Kazz
Public Enemy Announces New Album :

It's been a few since they dropped the last joint.
But they'er back !! Public Enemy will release a new album, Revolverlution, this
summer as part of a new partnership between their own SlamJamz Records and KOCH Entertainment. Revolverlution features 14 tracks, 8 of which are new songs written and performed by the group. Four tracks are new versions of Public Enemy hits produced by winners as part of a contest held on SlamJamz.com late last year. Chuck D posted newly recorded vocals of the songs on the website, and fans were invited to download them onto their own musical creations. Four winners were selected from around the world for inclusion in Revolverlution and will receive producer credits as well as royalties. Three additional tracks on the album are live recordings of "Welcome To The Terrordome," "Fight The Power," and "Uzi Weighs A Ton."
